What is the price of our CSA share?
We offer several share options. For new members, there are two share options: a weekly share or a bi-weekly share. The cost of a weekly share is $850 plus a onetime $75 refundable bin fee. The bi-weekly share is $475 plus a one-time $75 bin fee. Our standard CSA runs from mid-April until Thanksgiving or approximately 33 weeks! We also offer a winter share. The price of our CSA share covers the cost to operate our farm (50%) plus our cost of living (50%). Your financial support insures our local, organic family farm continues. We do offer payment plans if you are unable to pay the cost of the share in full. There is an additional $75 charge.
CSA members have saved an average of $6.05/week when compared to area grocery stores and farmers markets!

Where do we deliver?
We currently deliver to Webb School in West Knoxville, Island Home Park in South Knoxville (near downtown and UT), Three Rivers Market, Fountain City, Bearden, and Sequoyah Hills. You may also pick up at the farm for a discounted price.
What happens if I am out of town on my delivery day (or unable to pick up for whatever reason)?
You may send someone else to pick up your share, we can keep it at the farm in our cooler for up to 1 week for you to pick up later, or you can donate it. We may or may not be able to “compensate” you with extras the following week. There are several of our delivery locations where we are able to leave your share for same day pick up.
Do we allow CSA members to decide what is in their bin each week?
We have a fixed bin each week (we determine the type and quantity of produce) that is based on the preferences of our CSA members over several seasons as well as the conditions of the current season, but we also offer several choices each week in addition to the set veggies. We typically offer 8 items, of which you choose 2-3. Sustaining Members have more flexibility.
Do you wash the veggies?
Yes, with a few exceptions of produce items that should not be washed until immediately before it is consumed.
Do we allow CSA members to visit the farm?
Yes, we are always open to CSA members and strongly encourage you to visit the farm. We have several events at the farm each season. You may tour the farm prior to joining. We are also open to the public (including school groups) by appointment.
Are we organic?
We are certified organic through Oregon Tilth. We are inspected annually. For more on how we operate our farm, please see Our Farm page.
